Body
The car must retain its original appearance, profiles, and dimensions. Factory roof and quarter panels must be used. Aftermarket fiberglass replacement panels are limited to hood, front fenders, doors, deck lids, and bumpers only. All front ends must be of factory dimensions and cannot be stretched. Aftermarket wings and spoilers are permitted. Complete stock appearing front and rear bumpers are required. Forward facing hood scoops/ turbo or supercharger inlets are permitted.

Interior
Stock appearing dashboard & door panels required. Aftermarket driver seat is permitted. Full bare inside frame of car cannot be exposed. Aftermarket steering column is permitted.

Windshield / Windows
OEM glass or Lexan windows are permitted.

Chassis
Door cars only. Chassis must meet current SFI requirement for speed & E.T. (25.2, 25.3, 25.4 or 25.5)

Suspension
Stock front frame rails must be retained. Back-halved cars are allowed. Any type rear suspension allowed. Front core support may be modified or removed. Aftermarket bolt-on replacement front K-members/sub frames are allowed provided they bolt into the stock location. Aftermarket front control arms and bushings permitted. Car must retain factory wheelbase. Wheelie bars are prohibited. Cross members may be notched for clearance. Aftermarket steering column and rack & pinion steering permitted.

Engine
Any commercially available automotive-type engine allowed. Engine must be in stock location. Harmonic balancer meeting SFI spec 18.1 mandatory.

Turbochargers
All entries limited to 2 turbochargers – 91MM maximum. Turbocharger size will be verified by measuring the housing bore at the leading edge of the compressor wheel; the maximum diameter of the housing bore at the leading edge of the wheel may not exceed 2 mm more than the maximum allowable turbocharger size permitted. Inserts or reducers to achieve inlet or outlet dimensions prohibited. Stepped or notched compressor wheels prohibited. Any type of air-to-air or water-to-air intercooler permitted. Turbochargers w/nitrous oxide is prohibited except on 2-rotor, 4 cylinder, and inline 6 cylinder engines. Crew may be asked to remove compressor covers for turbo inspection and size verification.

Superchargers
Restricted to standard or hi-helix roots-type, centrifugal-type, or D-rotor screw-type superchargers. C-rotor screw-type superchargers prohibited. Supercharger restraint system meeting SFI Spec 14.1 mandatory on roots-type supercharger. Screw-type supercharger cases must have current SFI certification. For screw-type superchargers, manifold burst panel meeting SFI Spec 23.1 (in addition to panel in supercharger) plus restraint system meeting SFI Spec 14.21 mandatory. Supercharger drive must be belt, NHRA-accepted chain driver or NHRA-accepted gear drive. Supercharger restraint straps must be covered with a fire-resistant material. The supercharger restraint straps and fuel lines must be installed such that when the restraint straps are fully extended, no load is placed on any of the fuel lines. Air-to- air or water-to-air intercoolers permitted on centrifugal supercharged entries. Superchargers with nitrous oxide are prohibited except on 2-rotor, 4 cylinder, and inline 6 cylinder engines.

Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous bottles are allowed in driver’s compartment, provided they utilize a blow off valve that is vented to the outside of the driver’s compartment. Bottle must be DOT approved and stamped with a DOT-1800 PSI rating. Bottle must be mounted using a permanent mounting device. Zip Ties, Tie Wraps, and Hose Clamps are prohibited. Bottle warming blanket-style heaters are accepted. Any other external heating source (propane torch, open flame, etc) is strictly prohibited. Hot boxes, Hot water heaters, and similar devices are permitted. The use of nitrous oxide in conjunction with any other power adder (supercharger, turbo charger) is prohibited.

Transmission
Any OEM type automatic or manual transmissions allowed. Bruno, Lenco, and converter drives allowed. Aftermarket heavy-duty cases allowed. Air shifters and trans-brakes are allowed. Non OEM clutches or clutchless manuals prohibited.

Induction
Carburetors, mechanical fuel injection, and electronic fuel injection permitted. Sheet metal intakes permitted.


Oiling System
Dry sumps are permitted on all cars.

Exhaust
Mufflers or inserts are required on all cars except for turbo cars. Exhaust may exit underneath car or out the front fenders but must not affect timing or staging beams.

Fuel
Gasoline, methanol, or E85 is permitted. Nitromethane in any percentage is prohibited.

Street Equipment
All entries are required to have functional tail lights. All vehicles may be towed to the staging lanes and back from their passes.

Tires
Maximum tire sizes: 30 x 10.5 slick or 315/60/15 Drag Radial. All tires must have manufacturer, model, & size designation clearly marked on sidewall. “W” Tires prohibited.
